I am mixing medias, all reaching for an art form in photography.  I "see" it, and when I grasp it, the magic happens, better than I had seen it in my head.  Such an amazing process.  Need more opportunities to photograph. I love it. I don't have the picture on this computer I want to share, will have to do it later today., but here is a mixed media...Two artists on one page, actually three. Tis Fall so Soon

Tis Fall so soon, and a bit of Winter too. We've had a first snowfall and they've taken the flag off the barn.  Time to catch up on that painting I was to do this summer to brighten the rooms, or maybe not. Want to write a song, sing along and maybe take some pretty pictures of friends I know. I'm missing Jim, and Judy too. Went to Wyoming visited my family, filled my heart with hugs and sweet little one who had a first birthday party.  God does work in mysterious ways, he gathers our loved ones to take to heaven and sends us new souls to hold our hand. Amazing how this works.

I choose not to take the long lonely road.  Although the filtering light is pulling me to investigate.

I sit in my chair and think of days gone by,
my body is tired, my brain rethinking why,
to hold a moment in our lives each day,
fleeting, yet part of us, like summer's pay.

The little blue cup, so old with a chip,
hold pebbles from the lake I gathered after a dip,
in water so cold, restoring my soul,
and now a memory in a cup, precious as gold.

Bittersweet weekend in the Star Valley in Wyoming.  We had to sell our property we had dreamed of building a house on for the past 11 years.  God has other plans for us I think.  We spent the weekend cleaning out our storage unit filled with antique wood, windows, sinks, rugs and other building supplies. My daughter came with her horse trailer and we filled it up. I hope she can build a nice porch to her house or green house with the materials.  That evening we camped near the creek at the R.V. park in a new tent, and went out to Brenovens for dinner. I saw this little bee dancing on the Lupines, and got this picture.

Moving forward.
