"Simple" and Lovely.
I hung a lace table cloth for the background, with the north light behind it. Filtered light was also coming from the left, and a small modeling light to take out any shadows.
Used two Kim Klassen textures. Promo shot for two young singers. I opened the camera up and embraced the grain. I thought the simplicity of the pose brought interest to the image. The girls are engaged in something, drawing the viewer into the scene. PhotographybyNeets.com

Tis Spring and I am spring cleaning….spending so much time with lovely things I had forgotten I had tucked away in boxes. The attic is such a delightful mess. Piles of this and that. These lovely brown transfer ware cups and child's tea set were put away because they have cracks, and chips and missing lids; but, I do have to say I love them just the same. The bouquet was from so long ago, falls apart easily, but I gently tucked it into the ironstone vase my son Bobby bought for me at a garage sale many years ago, he was still a teenager. so lovely a thought, imagining, he saw it, and it made him think of Mom. I hug myself. I am so grateful for all the blessings so very perfect in their imperfectness….Love is forever, God abides. PhotographybyNeets.com

Ahhh, the first of April! And it is snowing, a foot of fresh snow. Pure and white and lovely. Can't say I am thrilled. Had a hard week with my boss, change is hard. However, had a very successful and beautiful photo session with Mary Kaye and her daughters. Sample pic above. I know in my heart this is the work I love to do, but don't think I can pay my bills with it unless I get organized. So right brained.
This is a slideshow of what I've edited so far. The song is by Mary Kaye, herself, written and performed by this talented and beautiful lady.
